Hedwig : Kim Jae Wook

I had a fun weekend with Himeko. We were around Coex Mall, so we decided that we should go loiter around the KT&G theater, where the musical Hedwig is being performed.
Kim Jae Wook [he played Waffle Sun Ki in Coffee Prince] was cast as Hedwig, but he had his last performance on Sunday. He cut his run short because he had to fulfill his military requirement. So, he's off to the army for 2 years. I tried to get tickets to his show, but they were all sold out. T.T
Anyway, typically when celebrities perform in small musicals or other productions, they'll sign programs and let you take pictures with them. That's why Himeko and I waited around to see if we could possibly meet him and say hello.
But when he came out, he was flanked by security guards and he was being rushed out. He said, "Thank you" many times to the fans. Then, we all rushed down to see him drive away. He was super nice and had the car double back so he could wave to us.
Even though he looks delicate and "pretty" in most of his roles, he is way more masculine in real life. Especially from Coffee Prince, I thought he would have a small frame, but he's actually really tall and built. He has a very commanding presence, which surprised me.
