So, Children's Day is on May 5th, so our school tried to plan some "Children's Day activities." We failed to come up with anything since Children's Day is a day that kids just spend with their parents and they get money as presents. There's nothing to do in order to commemorate Children's Day. So, we decided to go on a field trip!
We went to this really cool botanical gardens, a little south of Seoul. There, the kids got to see a lot of plants, fed rabbits, pet puppies, touched tadpoles and frog eggs, made gochujang (hot pepper paste), and potted a plant to take home. It was really neat and the kids were soooo well-behaved. 0.0 I was shocked.

| Nothing like a rousing game of rock, paper, scissors to make the 40 minute bus ride fly by... |

| The kids were also amused by getting me to read their Korean names off their placards |
